2020 Walkathon: Fundraising for Chung Chi Theological Education Fund

Fundraising Goals:

In order to relieve our financial burden which come from the cost of teachers’ salaries, Chung Chi Theological Education Fund is set up to recruit new teaching staff and to meet with the demand when many teachers are going to retire. According to the development plan of our School, there is a need for recruiting three professorial-graded teachers who will be appointed as Assistant Professor while the estimated cost per each will be around HKD2 million for three consecutive years. The total amount will be approximately HKD6 million.

HK$6 Million (4 years’ target)

1) Payment methods

Please submit your donataion by any of the below method by 31 May: 

1) Cheque: Please post a cross cheque payable to "The Trustees of Chung Chi College”, with your name, contact number or email on the back, to the Divinity School. 

2) Bank transfer: Deposit the donation into the Hang Seng Bank account (account number: 283-174001-001), and mail the original copy of bank slip, with your name, contact number or email, to the Divinity School;

3) Online Bank Transfer: Deposit the donation into the Hang Seng Bank account (account number: 283-174001-001), save or screenshot the transfer record, send together with your sponsorship form to theology@cuhk.edu.hk.

4) DSCCC Walkathon Online Show: “In Dialogue with Teachers" (In Cantonese)

The Organising Committee has held a special online programme, "In Dialogue with Teachers" from from March.  Our professors were invited to share with students about theological education and the reflections on the current situation. Please visit Facebook page or YouTube channel for details.
