The thanksgiving service includes presentation of new students, commissioning of graduates, and presentation of scholarships.
All full-time students are required to attend, assist with the service, and participate in the student choir on Theology Day; Part-time students in the MDiv and BD programs (for students admitted in 2025–26 and thereafter) are required to attend the service. If you are unable to attend, please submit an online Absence Request by 16 October. Part-time students from other programs are welcome to join the service.
Part-time students interested in participating in the Theology Day Choir should register by October 16 at Theology Day Choir: Part-Time Student Registration Form . They must also attend 2 sessions of practice and the final rehearsal on 8 November.
Due to the graduation ceremonies of the Chinese University of Hong Kong taking place on the same day, it is expected that many guests will attend and parking spaces will be limited. Participants are advised to use public transportation to travel to the university.
