2017步行籌款:「為優化神學樓」籌募經費
目的：
神學樓座落於「小橋流水」之中，與其他校園建築一起，組成崇基學院的優美校園。查神學樓自1969年落成，至今已有47年歷史之久，不單單是神學生及崇基學院學生的宿舍，同時兼備課室、辦公室、團契及敬拜場所，孕育出香港不少出色的牧者和神學人。雖然在2000年曾進行較大規模的維修，但經過16年的使用，宿舍許多設備已非常陳舊，近年更曾數次天花剝落，更換及維修的工作，已迫在眉睫。
與此同時，我們亦計劃重新規劃神學樓部份舊有辦公室或房間的用途，特別是增加學院課室的比例，期望將神學樓與容啟東校長紀念樓，打造成崇基神學學習與生活的新空間。初步預算，是次「優化神學樓」計劃需要港幣200萬元。我們希望是次步行籌款，能為「優化神學樓」而籌募經費。

2017 Walkathon: Fundraising for the "Optimisation of Theology Building"
Aim:
Theology Building is located in the serene and scenic campus of the Chung Chi College. Established in 1969, it has 47 years of history. It is a home to our students. Equipped with classrooms and an office, it also provides spacious rooms for fellowship and worship, which has nurtured many great pastors and scholars.
Currently, our school is planning to transform some rooms in Theology Building to new classrooms so as to increase the availability of teaching space. Moreover, many facilities in Theology Building have deteriorated due to aging. Spalling concrete and peeling ceilings frequently appear in the building in recent years. Therefore, a large-scale renovation and reconstruction work with an estimated cost of HK$2,000,000 is urgently needed.
This year, we organise the walkathon in a hope to raise funds for the optimisation project of Theology Building. Your support will be much appreciated.
