Approaches to Mission Studies
The course offers an introduction into mission studies including the biblical and historical basis of mission, present types of doing mission, and issues in missionary communication.
This course will not have one specific handbook that it follows. However, students may get themselves acquainted with some of the areas that the course will cover by reading one of the following books:

- Stephen Bevans, Models of Contextual Theology, New York: Orbis, 2002 (revised and expanded edition)
- Bosch, David J.: Transforming Mission: Paradigm Shifts in Theology of Mission, New York, Orbis, 1991 (also available in Chinese), 349-520 (chapters 10 to 12) (also available in Chinese)
